Early Career Researcher Masterclass Date: 21st October 2014 Time: 14:00 PM - 17:00 PM Location: South Street Campus This masterclass involves small group coaching designed to help ECRs or post docs set a research goal (generally in the form of a publication(s)) and then work with them to make sure they achieve it. The workshop will deal with issues on an individual and as-needed basis but is likely to cover the things that impact on publication output such as: workload competing demands prioritising papers perfectionism, overcommitting and procrastination identifying the next most important step in order to make progress being strategic team writing and managing co-authors Who is it for: Early career researchers or post docs who would like individualised assistance to increase their publication output.
