A cloud-based application streamlining unit reading list management and delivery processes. It provides an easy way for academic staff to create and manage reading lists, enable easier management of copyright compliance, and provide an improved experience for staff and students. This initiative supports the priority identified in the Murdoch University Strategic Plan 2012-17 to provide new practices that support the Murdoch University curriculum in a responsive, efficient and agile manner. Murdoch University will commence the implementation of the Talis Aspire Reading Lists and Digitised Content application in November 2014, with a view of trialling with selected academic staff for the start of First Semester 2015, and a more robust implementation in place for the start of Second Semester 2015. The Office of Library and Information Services will be coordinating this project and will be running a pilot programme in first Semester 2015 with selected stakeholders from across the university.
