2015 Staff Parking Permit Information

Murdoch campus staff can apply for their 2015 Red or Green zone permit online.

The permit will be posted to the address nominated in the application within two (2) working days of your application being processed.

Staff can apply for their Red or Green zone permit online at Parking Permit Applications.

Employees can also purchase a Red or Green zone permit directly from The Student Centre by completing an application form.

Parking fees continue to represent good value with green permits costing $1 per day and red permits $1.50 per day. Please consider the online system as your first preference for acquiring your parking permit as the Student Centre becomes very busy as we approach the start of semester 1.

If you currently have a payroll deduction for parking (including salary packaged parking) you do not have to re-apply for 2015. We will post your 2015 permit to the address recorded on the Parking database. Please note that this might not be the same address recorded in the Human Resources system so if it has changed since your last parking permit you need to notify The Student Centre in person or by email StudentCentre@murdoch.edu.au. Unfortunately we cannot offer payroll deductions to temporary/casual staff.

If you have a reserved parking bay that is not paid for via payroll deduction, you will be contacted by The Student Centre shortly to have your 2015 permit issued.

Please be aware that fees for 2015 permits have increased from 2014. For payroll deduction the 2015 fee will commence 9 February 2015.  Details can be viewed at:

Parking after this date contrary to the marked zones or with an invalid permit may result in a parking infringement being issued.

Please note:

  • A maximum of two (2) vehicle registrations can be nominated on the parking application form except for School/Office/University vehicles.
  • Murdoch staff (academic, general or commercial) who are also a Murdoch student are required to purchase a staff parking permit.
  • New staff will receive a temporary parking permit in their induction pack from Human Resources.
  • Temporary/casual University staff, commercial tenant staff or Murdoch sub-contractors must apply in person at The Student Centre only and provide evidence of employment, tenancy or contractor induction.
  • Campus Living Village permits are available from The Student Centre only.
  • Staff with a valid ACROD sticker can park in any ACROD bay without needing an additional Murdoch Permit.
  • University account codes can not be used to purchase a personal parking permit.
  • All School/Office designated vehicles need to purchase and display a valid parking permit.
  • Parking infringement penalties have not changed. An online payment option for infringements is available http://parking.murdoch.edu.au/infringement  An online infringement appeal process is expected to be available later in 2015.
