Office for Learning and Teaching: Awards for Programs that Enhance Learning 2014 It is with great pleasure that I announce a Murdoch program as a recipient of the prestigious national Awards for Programs that Enhance Learning in 2014. On behalf of the Murdoch community I extend my congratulations to the First Year Advisor Network, now the Student Advisor Network. The Student Advisor Network (SAN) is a School-based, University-wide program designed to support students in their academic and social transition to university. The value of this program to the success of students at Murdoch has gained national recognition and the support of researchers in the field, and the team is to be commended for its innovative approaches to supporting student learning. Delegates from the FYAN will be presented with an award at the national ceremony to be held in Canberra in December. The Network will also receive a prize of $25,000 for the further enhancement of the Program at Murdoch. Read more about the FYAN award. See who the Student Advisors are. At Murdoch we recognise high quality programs through the annual Vice Chancellor’s Awards for Excellence in enhancing learning. Teaching teams are recognised through the Vice Chancellor’s Awards for Teaching Excellence. Professor Andrew Taggart, Acting Vice Chancellor
