Free Healthy Heart Checks

Murdoch University, with the help of HBF are offering free healthy heart checks for staff. If you would like to book your 15 minute appointment, visit the link and use the password 'murdoch' to access the appointment calendar and choose a suitable date/time.

Your Healthy Heart Check will be a 15 minute appointment with a qualified HBF consultant. During this time, you will have your height/weight, blood pressure, blood glucose and cholesterol measured (small finger prick). Other risk factor components that will be discussed are age, family and personal history of heart disease, diabetes, exercise and stress levels. You will be given the opportunity to discuss changes you might like to make with diet, exercise, stress management, smoking cessation, etc.
