Changes to Murdoch OUA Support functions and responsibilities

On 10 August 2015, the student focused administrative function of the OUA Support Office will be integrated within other offices of the Murdoch University Academic Registrar’s Office.

Key OUA support activities will be managed by the following areas:

  • Murdoch Exams and Assessments Office – OUA Examinations, OUA Exam Services Alternative Assessment Arrangements (supported by Murdoch Equity and Social Inclusion Office)
  • Student Records Office – Enrolment services and general student enquiries
  • Academic Policy Coordination team – OUA Academic Planning (PIMS).

 There will also be interim changes to the delivery of OUA Support Manager functions. The Manager of the OUA Support Office, Martin Gwyn-Fawke, is taking extended leave from 10 June 2015 to the end of January 2016. During this period, these functions will be delivered by Peter Furzer, Associate Director Student Registry.

 

The mailbox OUA@Murdoch.edu.au will remain in operation and can be used by Murdoch staff to contact us on any matter.  The OUA Support Office telephone number 08 9360 2401 will remain for staff use only. Any staff OUA related enquiry will be triaged and the appropriate department will respond to your enquiry.  For a faster response, please contact the relevant areas directly.

 

All OUA students should be directed to contact the University through 1300 Murdoch (1300 687 3624), through the OUA Murdoch Students page or directly via Ask A Question on the Murdoch website.

 

We are confident that the changes outlined above will improve the quality of Murdoch University’s administration services to OUA and, most importantly, our OUA students.
