Murdoch University to host special UK event

The Agent General for Western Australia Mr John Atkins and Murdoch University will be holding the Murdoch University 2015 event at the Australian Centre in London.
The special event will take place on Thursday 29 October and will be chaired by Professor Sara de Freitas, Pro Vice Chancellor, Learning and Teaching.
The Australian High Commissioner will be in attendance and Dr Christopher Smith (Naked Scientist/University of Cambridge/http://www.thenakedscientists.com/ ) will be the keynote speaker at the event.
The Murdoch University 2015 event will explore the prevalence of Big Data in the global society and consider how the ICT skills gap can be closed over the next ten years.
The aim of the event is to bring together key stakeholders from industry and academia and notable Murdoch University alumni, to support discussion and debate around the ICT skills gap and potential solutions.
