Immunisation Policy

The University recently released an Immunisation Policy to provide staff, students, contractors, and visitors a safe and healthy environment to work and study in.
The University's Immunisation Policy (the Policy) aims to provide staff, students, contractors, and visitors with a safe and healthy environment to work and study in, by minimising as far as possible the risks from coming to harm by passing infections between each other or between species.
Any current staff members who has already sought immunisation or will be seeking immunisation in accordance with the Policy may seek reimbursement for their vaccination cost/s. Reimbursement can be made via the School/Office provided that the Supervisor has deemed that there is a risk of exposure or exposure of others to infectious diseases and confirmed eligibility of the immunisation as identified in the categories listed . The employees’ claim must also be supported by a receipt dated from 28 January 2015 onwards.
