2015 Salvation Army Christmas Appeal

Donations needed to help the less fortunate over Christmas.

Once again, the community at Murdoch University have been asked to get involved with the Salvation Army Christmas Appeal.

They are asking for donations of food, toys and gift cards for families that are struggling through this time of year.  A full list of appropriate items are on boxes which can be found at the following locations:

  • Library (Loans desk)
  • Alumni Careers Office
  • Veterinary Trust Office and Student Common Room
  • Development Office (4th Floor Chancellery)
  • 2nd Floor Kitchen - Chancellery Building

Please note the "Handy Hints" on the front of the boxes, to ensure that your donations are within the requirements requested by the Salvation Army.  

IMPORTANT - Please ensure that food items are non-perishable and expiry dates are well into next year.  The Salvation Army CANNOT accept any food items that have expired.

The deadline for the Salvation Army Christmas Appeal is on Thursday 17 December, and if you would like to donate, please do so before this date.  

Their representatives will be collecting all donations on Friday 18 December, ready to distribute to families in need before Christmas Day.

Thanks in advance for your donations - you will be helping families and individuals enjoy a special Christmas, and ease any financial burden over the holiday period.
