Fellowship opportunities
posted 14 January 2016 | Staff Announcement - (staff)
From 1 January 2016, the University will award Higher Education Academy (HEA) Fellowships to staff who complete the Murdoch University Certificate in Learning and Teaching.
The Centre for University Teaching and Learning is pleased to announce that Murdoch University has successfully gained accreditation to award Higher Education Academy (HE) Fellowships to staff who complete the Murdoch University Certificate in Learning and Teaching.
Higher Education Academy Fellowships provide recipients with independent recognition of their professionalism in higher education learning and teaching. Murdoch is the second university in Australia, after the Australian National University, to gain accreditation to offer this prestigious scheme to its own staff.
Awards will be made at Fellowship or Associate Fellowship level, according to the pathway chosen by participants. The Certificate in Learning and Teaching is co-ordinated by Mike Bryant, Associate Director in the Centre for University Teaching and Learning, and Dr Lisa Cary, Associate Dean in the School of Education. Both colleagues have recently gained the award of HEA Senior Fellowship.
