Academic Induction - Join the Murdoch University Academic Staff Community

The 2016 Murdoch University Academic Staff Induction will take place on Tuesday February 16. Any Academic member of staff at Murdoch University may enrol for Academic Staff Induction.

The Academic Induction event will be held at the South Street Campus, NW Library level 4, TLC Flexible Learning Room 4.040, from 1pm to 4.30pm.

The event accompanies the main University Orientation for new staff and forms a core part of the University's induction of newly appointed academic staff.

This is an enjoyable and informal chance to join small group workshops on research and academic practice and policy, beginners' / advanced teaching recognition, and workplace integrated learning, and an opportunity to meet key contacts across the University.

Academic Staff Induction is offered jointly by the Murdoch Schools, the Office of Research and Development, the Academic Policy Team and the student Peer Assisted Study Leaders and hosted by the Centre for University Teaching and Learning.

A repeat event for Semester 2 will be held on Tuesday July 19.

Both sessions will run from 1:00pm - 4:30pm AWST on the South Street campus, or online for staff who are unable to attend face to face.
