Meditation as taught in the Gayatri Mantra

Date: 23rd April 2013
Time: 19:00 PM - 20:30 PM

Location: Kim Beazley Lecture Theatre, South Street Campus, Murdoch

Mantras are a powerful tool within Hinduism. Their cryptic verses are as a telegraph, a direct conduit to the Supreme through which man can attain that peace that all survive for but few ever achieve

In this 5-day series of discourses on the Gayatri Mantra, Swami Swaroopananda will unravelthe complex secrets of this most powerful of mantras and allow us to benefit from its profound philosophical insights, its meditative depths and its uplifting power.
In his characteristic style of warmth, wit and logic, Swamiji will explain to us the true meaning of the Gayatri mantras to transcend our limited
selves and in this ever-changing world, to find some measure of peace, tranquility and lasting happiness.
