Student Hub - Have your say
posted 19 April 2016 | Staff Announcement - (staff)
The more feedback you provide, the better the Student Hub will be!
As many of you are aware, the University has been investigating a major redevelopment of the Refectory Building following feedback from the Murdoch community.
A project team, including designers and engineers, has been working with key stakeholders to gain an understanding of the University’s needs. The project is currently being reviewed by the University in order to endorse the significant investment required to completely revitalise the facilities. The proposal will be presented to the University Senate for approval in the next few months.
The designs for the proposed new Student Hub development at the Refectory are progressing, and we are seeking input from staff to create the best possible facility for the whole Murdoch Community.
Drop-in discussion
The design team from Hames Sharley will be hosting a drop-in session for staff and students in the former Bankwest tenancy (next to the Refectory).
The team is looking forward to sharing the early design stage proposals and outlining existing opportunities for spaces to promote engagement, co-working, socialising and relaxing.
Please pop in and take a moment to see what’s happening and share feedback on changes that will help provide staff and students with a better facility.
The more feedback you provide, the better the Student Hub will be!
