A new look for staff announcements

From next week, you'll notice a change to our weekly staff communications.

We're almost ready to unveil a engaging new look to our weekly staff announcements, with a fresh template launched next Tuesday 28 June.

Featuring a dynamic new layout, the improved weekly staff announcement will continue to highlight campus announcements, events and training information - with the addition of media coverage, social media highlights and links to online articles about Murdoch and our community. 

The 2015 Voice Survey revealed only 17% of staff rated our internal communication as “good”.

This feedback has helped shape a new look for our regular Staff Announcements, an early step towards building a framework to unite our internal communications and help grow engagement.

The advanced new format will improve the way we consume important University information, driving staff to the MyMurdoch website where our range of internal communications channels will call home. 

Communication is crucial to staff engagement, our people and culture strategy, and building advocacy of our research and teaching offering.

To succeed, we need a communication platform that inspires and engages with staff. Our new weekly staff announcement is one of the first steps.
