Information on the new travel advice and assistance service being introduced for Murdoch's international travellers.
Murdoch has introduced a travel advice and assistance service, called Dynamiq PROACT, for our students and staff undertaking international university travel.
From Tuesday 14th June, bookings made with Murdoch’s Travel Management Companies (QBT, STA or Amadeus e-travel management) via the University’s travel management system will be automatically subscribed to the service.
The service includes:
- pre-travel country reports
- 24/7 access to expert pre-travel medical and security advice
- SMS and email travel alerts for destination incidents
- Unlimited access for travellers and supervisors to view all global travel risks and alerts on a dedicated Information Portal
- Continuous emergency assistance if required during travel
- Immediate welfare checks for University travellers if a high-risk incident occurs in their location.
Travellers booked outside of the University providers (QBT, STA and Amadeus) will not be automatically subscribed to the service, but will have unlimited access to the Information Portal where they can subscribe to any country reports or risk alerts they choose.
To get the full benefits of the service, staff travellers are asked to check their mobile number is accurately listed in MyHR.
Further information on Dynamiq PROACT, including how to access the Information Portal, can be found on the Safe and Successful Travel webpage.
If you have any questions on the service, please contact Dan Byles, Manager University Resilience on (08) 9360 6286 or d.byles@murdoch.edu.au.
