Professor Nancy Guerra: A randomized controlled trial of the CDPT parent training program

Distinguished Collaborator, Professor Nancy Guerra from University of Delaware will present data from a CDC-funded randomized controlled trial of an evidence-based home visiting parent training program for immigrant Latina mothers in the US, Friday May 17, 1:30pm Senate Conference Room.

Professor Guerra is internationally recognized for her research focusing on understanding and preventing behavior problems of youth, particularly youth violence. She has published extensively on the role of culture in the etiology of behavior and implications for the design and implementation of prevention programs in the U.S. and internationally. She is currently Associate Provost for International Programs and Director, Institute for Global Studies at the University of Delaware in the US and is Editor of Journal of Research on Adolescence.
