An Olympic Live Site is now available for all Perth staff and students to watch the 2016 Rio Olympic Games.
The Olympic and Paralympic Games will be broadcast on a big screen within the Refectory Building for all to view.
Many of the night time finals in Rio will be live from 8:00am-12:00pm Perth time, so feel free to bring some work and/or coffee and watch the world’s best in action, including our very own students!
Murdoch University is a member of the Elite Athlete Friendly University (EAFU) Network. The EAFU is an initiative that allows elite athletes to balance university studies with sport so they can have a career after their time as an athlete.
Students from Murdoch University's Elite Athlete Program competing in Rio are:

- Jeremy Hayward is a Kookaburra who is a Reserve Member of the Squad at his first Olympics

The Olympic Games conclude on Sunday 21 August, with the Paralympic Games running from 7-18 September.
