Warlang Festival 2016

Warlang (meaning “healthy” in Nyungar) Festival and is aimed to be a fun day filled with interactive stalls and activities focusing on providing information about careers, pathways, and opportunities in Health.
This festival day aims to provide Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders with information on pathways, careers and opportunities in Nursing, Medicine, Exercise Science, Psychology, Dentistry and more. It is a joint university endeavour between Murdoch, UWA, Notre Dame and Curtin in partnership with the Department of Health, Marr Mooditj Training and AHCWA (Aboriginal Health Council of WA).
Guest speakers include Dr Richard Walley, Rishelle Hume, Brad Ness and Daniel Hunt. There will also be a special performance by the Binjareb Mibbars.
The event will feature live music by Jake and The Cowboys, The Revelationship and Vanessa Hopes.
