The existing Senate Suite is moving to make way for the exciting Student Hub. The new Senate Suite and Art Gallery space will open on the ground floor of Building 121 (former Murdoch College Administration Building) on Monday, 5 December.

The new Senate Suite will feature a technology enabled meeting room, purpose designed for Murdoch University’s Senate with an 18 seat conference room, and is an important step toward the commencement of the new Student Hub project. 

 

Adjacent to the Senate Suites is the new contemporary Art Gallery office and exhibition space, boasting over 190 square meters floor space. The gallery space is dedicated for the display of the Murdoch University’s impressive and culturally significant art collection. The gallery’s open design floor space and adjoining kitchen provides a perfect location for University events.  

 

The Senate Suite may be booked for ad-hoc events via Roombook@murdoch.edu.au, and any existing bookings have been automatically transferred to the new location from December 5. Additional visitor parking will be established in Car Park 1, adjacent to the new Senate Suite, in the coming weeks.
