The Murdoch Careers Centre is a professional service aimed at increasing employability and career readiness for all Murdoch students. The Careers Team is skilled at helping to provide opportunity and facilitating career development learning from first year, through to graduation and beyond.  Meet the team here.

How we can work with you

1) We collaborate with Murdoch staff and The Guild with the aim of incorporating career development content (both face-to-face and on-line) into courses or co-curricular activities such as the Murdoch Student Emerging Leaders Program (MSEL).

i) Our Career Development Advisors are available to present, facilitate or co-facilitate career development learning material to support and compliment academic delivery.
ii) The Careers Centre offers a no-cost, on-line employability module accessible to all Murdoch University staff and students. The Enhance your Employability module is unique to Murdoch and contains three separate guides relevant to the various stages of the academic journey.
iii) Careers Centre staff can also assist in sourcing relevant industry representatives / Murdoch University alumni for guest lectures and other industry engagement activities hosted by Schools.

2) We maintain an online careers portal known as CareerConnect, exclusive to Murdoch students, graduates and staff. The portal includes an online jobs database and career events page. 
NOTE: Murdoch staff are encouraged contact the Careers Centre to promote any up-coming job opportunities or career/industry networking events in your respective areas through CareerConnect.  We also maintain an active Facebook page, useful for additional promotional purposes.

3) We offer a range of career/job search resource material (both in centre and on CareerConnect) including a suite of Careers In… documents for undergraduate degree programs and Job Search Toolkits by discipline, available to both staff and students.
