Academic Staff Probation and Promotion Information Session Date: 11th February 2013 Time: 14:30 PM - 15:30 PM Location: South Street Campus, Flexible Teaching and Learning Room, Library South Professor David Morrison and Professor Ann Capling will be holding an information session on ‘Academic Staff Probation and Promotion’. The information session will be held on Monday 11th February from 2.30pm to 3.30pm in the Flexible Teaching and Learning room, Library South. Academic Staff Probation and Promotion Professor David Morrison and Professor Ann Capling will be holding an information session on ‘Academic Staff Probation and Promotion’. The information session will be held on Monday 11th February from 2.30pm to 3.30pm in the Flexible Teaching and Learning room, Library South. These sessions will be especially useful for academic staff who are approaching their probation review and academic staff intending to apply for promotion. Supervisors and mentors, including School Deans, are also encouraged to attend. The information session will outline the probation and promotion processes and provide advice and tips on making a case for promotion in each of the categories of Research and Professional Scholarship, Teaching and Teaching Development, and Service to the University and Community.
