How to help a student as the semester stress builds
posted 21 March 2017 | Staff Announcement (staff)
Do you have a student who you are concerned about?
Murdoch University Health: Counselling Service
As the semester progresses, stress levels can rise and you may notice some students are withdrawn, avoiding class, or highly anxious. If you are concerned about a student, or don’t know how to approach them, please see our website.
We have information and videos on how to start difficult conversations with students you are concerned about. There is also general information about how to refer a student to the counselling service.
We have triage appointments available daily for students who are new to our service.
