Space Utilisation survey 2017

In accordance with the Space Management Policy, the University will conduct space utilisation surveys in Perth Campus (South Street) teaching venues from March 27- April 7, 2017.

Times:                 8.30am-5.30pm (Monday to Friday)

Venues:               All general teaching rooms and teaching laboratories

 

During this time student casuals will be asked to enter teaching venues once every hour to count the number of people in the room. It is anticipated this data will provide insight into the way in which spaces are used, and may also provide Schools with informal total attendance data.

Rooms will not be surveyed during a supplementary exam, but Unit Coordinators will need to alert timetabling@murdoch.ed.au if they have scheduled a test within normal class times in this period, as these will not be visible to the survey planning team. 

Please contact timetabling@mudoch.edu.au if you have any concerns regarding students entering a space during class time so that we can discuss appropriate protocols or adjust the room list where necessary.
