Vice Chancellor’s Citations for Excellence in Enhancing Learning 2017

Murdoch is delighted to announce the Vice Chancellor’s Citations for Excellence in Enhancing Learning have now been awarded to exemplary Murdoch University staff.
These citations are designed to recognise the many and varied contributions that combine to create effective learning environments at Murdoch University. Recipients will be awarded $2,000 to advance their contribution to learning and teaching at Murdoch.
The following recipients are to be commended for their outstanding contribution to learning and teaching:
Dr Peter le Breton, Centre for University Teaching and Learning
For inspiring pre-university students to pursue their calling or callings wholeheartedly, by nurturing love of learning, demystifying criticality and literacy, modeling a ‘growth’ mindset, and building self-efficacy.
Dr Caroline Nilson and Dr Martin Hopkins (Team award), School of Health Professions
For embedding ePortfolios into the nursing course to provide a platform for student owned and focussed learning to prepare them for employability and life-long learning.
