As a university staff member what you say counts. We ask that you please promote this new free service to your students.

 

We offer free, friendly and individualised academic assistance to all Murdoch students. No appointment is necessary. You can visit us as often as you like.

 

The Peer Academic Coaches are successful students who can pass on useful advice on how to improve study skills.

 

Peer Academic Coaches at Murdoch Online:

 

Monday - Thursday 9:30am - 7:30pm and;

Friday 9:30am - 4:30pm

 

 

Drop-In session are available on Level 3 of the library foyer. Please see the schedule at murdoch.edu.au/pac Appointments are also available and can be scheduled via the PAC appointment booking form.

 

The Peer Academic Coaches will be able to assist students with:

• Essay structure
• Referencing
• Developing an argument
• Starting/planning assignment
• Time management
• Interpreting the assignment question
• Paraphrasing and summarising
• Research

And any other study related question.

 

If the PAC does not know the answer, they will refer the student to a person who does. They will not assist areas they do not feel confident in and are happy and willing to get students to where they need to be.
