To maintain the IT security controls for the University, an upgrade of key IT Security software is required on all Microsoft and Apple Mac based desktop and laptops.

Security Software Upgrade

 

This University-wide activity will commence on Tuesday, 24 October 2017 and aims to complete all computer upgrades by mid-November 2017.

 

What do you have to do?

• When prompted, select to carry out a computer restart. 
• It's important to ensure that you save all of your work prior to confirming the restart.

 

Note: If you choose to delay the restart activity, the upgrade process will automatically restart your computer over the next weekend.
