FREE body composition assessment Book in to see our new resident exercise physiologist before 23rd March and receive a free body scan (values at $99) SPECIAL OFFER! Book in for your initial consultation before 23 March and receive a FREE body composition assessment using gold standard technology (DEXA scan) valued at $99. A DEXA scan uses very low dose x-rays (similar amount of radiation if you were to fly to Sydney) to tell you how much muscle, bone and fat you are made of and exactly where it is. This scan is a great way to boost motivation and track your progress. Even if you don't necessarily see changes on the scales, this scan will tell you if and where changes may be occurring. During your initial consultation, your exercise physiologist will collect information regarding your personal health history, relevant family history, current and previous exercise and other lifestyle habits as well as your health and lifestyle goals. Using this information, they will work with you to develop a safe and effective exercise program. To help you fit exercise into your healthy new lifestyle we have open class times where you can come into the clinic and complete your program. During these times, our exercise physiologists will be available to answer any questions, ensure you are using the correct technique and adjust and progress your program as required. Alternatively, programs can be designed to be completed at home, the local park or your local gym. Open class times: Monday 7-9am Tuesday 7am-12pm and 3-6pm Thursday 7am-12pm and 3-6pm Friday 7-9am Individual consultations are available outside of open class time. What is an exercise physiologist?
