Historical Thinking at Murdoch: an OLT Extension Grant

Date: 16th August 2013
Time: 14:30 PM - 15:30 PM

Location: South Street Campus, FLTR Library, 4.040

The outcomes of this Extension Grant will be disseminated at this NEST event. This project looks at how best to embed Threshold Learning Outcomes (TLOs), and structure the curriculum in a way that scaffolds the development of TLOs over a three-year course. The Project Leaders, Michael Sturma and James Trotter, have worked with Murdoch history staff over a series of 6 seminars in which TLOs, assessment and capstone units have been reviewed in the context of current changes to the curriculum.

The project has also hosted seminars from two interstate academics: Associate Professor Jennifer Clark from the University of New England, and Professor Jill Roe, Professor Emerita at Macquarie University.

Date: Friday 16 August, 2.30-3.30pm, followed by refreshments and an opportunity to network with colleagues.

Venue: FTLR 4th floor SW Library, 4.040
