VC’s Awards for Excellence in Learning and Teaching - call for applicants

Murdoch University recognises and rewards excellence in learning and teaching with three Learning and Teaching Awards.

The final round of awards for 2018 are the VC’s Awards for Excellence in Learning and Teaching (Teaching Awards).

Due date: Monday 13 August

Teaching Awards recognise staff who have demonstrated excellence in their teaching practice and in student learning, and have made a broad and deep contribution at Murdoch. 

There are two Teaching Awards available in 2018, valued at $5,000 each.

Applications may be from individuals or teams, and teaching, professional and sessional staff may apply. Please check the Eligibility Criteria for more information on eligibility.

Teaching award applications address four Assessment Criteria:

• Approaches to learning and teaching that influence, motivate and inspire students to learn
• Development of curricula and resources that reflect a command of the field
• Evaluation practices that bring about improvements in teaching and learning
• Innovation, leadership or scholarship that has influenced and enhanced learning and teaching and/or the student experience.
