Culture Survey Please complete the Culture Survey by 15 June 2018 Reponses from the Culture Survey will help better understand the values that are currently held by all Murdoch staff. It is open to all employees of Murdoch University, and will close on 15 June 2018. You can access the survey here. Our values reflect what is important to us — they describe the individual and collective motivations that shape our organisational culture and decision making. If we can define and live our values, this can help all of us within the institution achieve our goals. We have placed our guiding principles and values at the forefront of our refreshed strategic plan and emphasised the importance of living our working lives by these values. The 2015 ‘Your Voice’ staff satisfaction survey identified the need for Murdoch University to review its existing values, and ensure these agreed values are demonstrated in everyday decisions and behaviours. Building on your feedback, the Senior Executive Group is committed to building a workplace culture that is underpinned by a strong values system. This survey of our workforce values and behaviours is an important next step in this endeavour. The survey comprises just three questions, and will take most staff about 15 minutes to complete. Answers will remain confidential – all responses will be sent directly to the independent consultants who are assisting us, so please provide your honest input. If you have any questions about this survey, please contact Tiffany Boland on 9360 6423. Thank you for your support in building a positive, values-based workplace culture. This is how the announcement will appear on the Announcements website. Only the title will be included in the emailed version.
