Right now, researchers at Murdoch University have an excellent opportunity for technology commercialisation thanks to the Research & Innovation Office and business incubator Innovyz.

The Innovyz Institute’s Advanced Materials & Manufacturing Commercialisation Program provides intensive, long-term business development consultation and mentoring to commercialise innovative technologies.  The Institue is currently calling for expressions of interest from Murdoch University researchers who want to take their ideas out into the community through commercialisation.  Innovyz’s slogan is, “We turn great ideas into great companies”.

We are looking for applicants with industry-changing technologies.  Innovyz particularly encourages those with minimum viable products to apply, however projects in earlier stages of development may also be considered.  The Program is targeted towards materials & manufacturing technologies in areas such as energy materials, electronic technologies, chemical processes and 3D printing.  Please see the Program brochure here for the full list of technology categories and further details about the Program.

If you have a suitable technology, please tell us all about it by sending your expression of interest to the Commercialisation team at commercialisation@murdoch.edu.au by Friday 20th July.  You can also call us on x7481, and we’d be happy to answer any queries you have about this program or the research commercialisation process.
