Internship Program for the 2018 Tertiary Education Management Conference (TEMC)

The 2018 Tertiary Education Management Conference (TEMC) is being held from 9-13 September at the Crown Conference Centre in Perth. The Local Organising Committee for TEMC 2018 are offering a limited number of enthusiastic delegates the opportunity to gain experience in event management and assist with the day to day venue management, social media content and running of the TEM Conference. Interns will receive a complimentary three-day pass to the conference itself.

The Internship Program was sucessfully run at the TEMC 2017 Conference and is particularly designed for early-career university staff who are interested in communication, PR and event management.

• Gain experience in venue management, social media and organisational skills. 
• Contribute to the positive conference experience and generate a positive energy.

• Gain professional recognition including a certificate and reference.

What do you need?

• You'll need to be available for the duration of the conference (9-12 September) from 7.30am until the close of each day.
• It is preferred that you are in attendance at the Welcome Reception and Conference dinner to provide social media coverage.
• You have a keen interest in learning more about organisational management, preferably event management and PR.
• You'll need to be outgoing and interact with conference delegates throughout. 
• You'll need to obtain approval from your supervisor to attend the conference as part of the Internship Program.
