Curriculum@Murdoch: Changes to APC Communications Method To support data quality in multiple systems, the Academic Policy Coordinators will be centralising the way in which they receive notification of new and amended curriculum, as well as support requests. The Curriculum@Murdoch program has reached a major milestone, the transition of our curriculum information into the new CourseLoop system, as of the 29th October. Between now and our wider community 'go live' in Q1 2019, the data in our new CourseLoop system must be maintained alongside the data held in our existing Academic Planning database (which feeds the information into the Handbook). This will be completed by our Academic Policy Coordinators (APCs). To ensure all curriculum changes are efficiently reflected in both systems, we will be centralising the curriculum related communications sent to our APCs. This centralisation will help to ensure that the APC’s are fully supported and that the data quality is maintained. As of 1st November, all APC intended communications (related to curriculum revisions, new items and meeting outcomes) must be directed to CurriculumSupport@murdoch.edu.au. A record of any telephone conversation (discussing changes to be applied) must be summarised to this email address also. As part of the secondary quality checks on information entered, some Academics may be asked to check the data entered to ensure it matches the approved information.
