Human research ethics update New National Statement: Full implementation by 1 January 2019 The new National Statement on Ethical Conduct in Human Research (National Statement) was released in July 2018 and will be fully implemented by 1 January 2019. Researchers must ensure that the current National Statement is being used in developing the research proposals, making submissions for ethics review and undertaking ethics review. Please see the Human Research Ethics website for further information on the key changes to the National Statement.
