Human Research Ethics National Statement on Ethical Conduct in Human Research 2007 (updated 2018) As part of the NHMRC’s rolling review, revisions have been made to the National Statement on Ethical Conduct in Human Research 2007 (updated 2018). The following changes require specific attention: Section 3: Chapter 3.1 - The elements of a research project (from conception to post-completion). This section has been rewritten and restructured. Section 3: Chapter 3.2, 3.3 and 3.4 - Which involve human biospecimens, genomics, and xenotransplantation. Further details concerning these changes are available from the NHMRC. As the changes have been implemented into our processes, please ensure that you download the latest version of the forms for your submissions. Please also note that an Exemption Form is available if your research does not require Human Research Ethics approval. Check the Human Research Application website for further information.
