Get the most out of Microsoft - OneDrive / Teams / SharePoint Online / Windows 10 Have you been given access to new Microsoft products and you don’t know how to use them? Do you use them now and want to know more? Learn about the new Microsoft tools available to Murdoch staff in 30 minutes. ITS is offering training sessions to help you collaborate, share documents and access documents from anywhere on any device. Training will be provided on the following Microsoft products: Windows 10 – find tips and tricks for Windows 10 which will be rolled out to staff over the coming year. In this session we give you an overview of the basic features of Windows 10 and cover some of the fundamentals including using the taskbar, file management and searching, adding printers, personalisation and Microsoft Edge. This session is recommended for all staff. OneDrive – your personal storage area that allows you to save your data in a secure location in the cloud that is accessible from anywhere on any device such as a laptop, phone or tablet. In this session we will show you how to make the most of OneDrive from uploading files to viewing and sharing documents. This session is recommended for all Murdoch staff. Teams – collaborate with your colleagues on projects, events or task and finish groups through sharing your documents and conversations all in one place. Microsoft Teams is the communication and teamwork hub for Office 365. In this session we will cover the basic features of Teams and show you how to use it collaboratively to work with your colleagues and external 3rd parties. This session is recommended for staff who have been invited to join a Microsoft Team. SharePoint Online – organise, store and share your committee, departmental or College documents with colleagues and external parties. In this session we will show you how to use Microsoft’s SharePoint Online to upload, view and share files including how to use SharePoint Online as a central publishing service for all your templates and images. This session is recommended for staff who have been given access to a Sharepoint service. Get in the know and book spots for one or more of these sessions via TCMS (MyLearning).
