Honour for teaching leader

Dear colleagues, I write to bring you the wonderful news that Dr Lisa Cary has been awarded a Principal Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy.

A Principal Fellowship recognises individuals working in higher education that have deep knowledge and experience, who are able to demonstrate a sustained and effective record of strategic impact in relation to teaching and learning, who are recognised leaders and who influence others to engage in quality learning and teaching practices, institutionally or beyond.

There is now a total of over 114,000 Fellows internationally, but Lisa joins a small but very prestigious group of just over 1,000 who have attained Principal Fellowship. The recognition is a reflection of Lisa’s practice over her entire career and also demonstrates Murdoch’s commitment to developing, recognising and rewarding learning and teaching leadership.

Congratulations Lisa!
