Appointment of New Director and People and Culture

Dear Colleagues,  I am very pleased to announce the appointment of our new Director People and Culture.

Joanne (Joe) Perkins will join us on 10 June, moving from the Commonwealth Bank in Sydney. Her role there is General Manager, Strategy Enablement and Organisation Development. She moved with the wider CBA organisation to this role from Bankwest here in Perth. Joe has worked for Bankwest and CBA since 2012 in a wide range of HR roles, including Head of Strategy, Planning and Operations, People and Culture Lead (Risk Environment & Culture Program) and Strategic HR Business Partner. Prior to this, Joe was based in England and worked for Network Rail and a range of other sectors, including technology, media and publishing.

Joe brings an exceptional level of strategic and operational human resources experience from her past organisations, which she will be able to apply to the benefit of Murdoch University.
