Teaching Interest Group (TIG) Murdoch LEAD (Learning Excellence Academy) would like to support staff to connect with colleagues who also care about and would like to improve their teaching, in a way that recognises your packed schedules and doesn’t require you to commit to a fixed program. Date: 07th May 2019 Time: 12:00 PM - 13:30 PM Location: Learning Link - Teaching Space, 513.1.004, 513 - Learning Link Level A/B and casual staff are particularly encouraged to attend. New Teaching Interest Group (TIG) sessions will be facilitated by staff with a track record of teaching excellence. These sessions will be created for you based on what you want to know to make your teaching easier, more successful and more innovative. We will be holding our first meeting over lunch on Tuesday 7 May 12.00-1.30 pm in 513.1.004 (the Learning Link), for the group to choose the topics that we focus on for the rest of the year. Level A/B and casual staff are particularly, but not exclusively, encouraged to come along. An RSVP would be helpful for catering purposes but is not essential – come late, leave early, please just come along and meet some like-minded colleagues. To get us started, Chanelle van den Berg will be talking with us about what (and perhaps what not) to do when delivering an Acknowledgment of Country.
