Murdoch speakers to discuss human impacts on the environment The final part of a free public lecture series exploring human impacts on the environment will take place in The National Hotel in Fremantle on Wednesday 15 May, from 6pm. Murdoch researcher and lecturer Dr Martin Brueckner will be part of a panel discussion and Q&A exploring whether politics can help to save us from ourselves. He will be joined by Dr Brad Pettitt, Mayor of Fremantle and Adjunct Associate Professor at Murdoch, Greens Senator Jordon Steele-John and former WA Premier Professor Carman Lawrence. The event is part of a crowd-funded project NowHere: the Decisive Moment which also includes an exhibition of aerial photography of Western Australian landscapes by Gwenael Velge. Murdoch's Centre for Responsible Citizenship and Sustainability (CRCS) is a major sponsor of the project.
