She will contest a semi-final of the science communication competition on Wednesday 5 June. If successful, she will go on to the international final on Thursday 6 June at 20:30 BST (3:30am Friday 7 June in Perth).

Paola won the national FameLab competition a few weeks ago with a funny and fabulous presentation on her research into the sea creatures helping to solve crimes and other mysteries.
