Health and Counselling- Courses for Staff

Health and Counselling are pleased to announce we are commencing Nationally recognised Apply First Aid Courses for staff.

The Apply First Aid course is a one day general first aid course that would benefit all those at work, home or for leisure. The course provides for good general grounding in first aid and will enable you to perform life support skills. The course will be a combination of theory and hands on practical scenarios, including cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) training.

The cost of the course is $130 and is billed to the participant unless first aid is a requirement within your department and covered by prior approval from your manager.

The course is being conducted by certified first aid trainer Joel Chan in conjunction with the University Nurse's from Health and Counselling. We recommend you undertake this course every three years with an annual update on CPR skills.

A nationally recognised statement of attainment will be issued to successful participants.

Course Dates:

19 September 2013

Venue: EH 1.001

17 October 2013

Venue: Senate Conference Room
