Library Skills Training Resources

Published: 29th July 2019

Murdoch University Library are pleased to announce the creation of our new Library Skills Training Resources LMS page. We have also updated the look and content of our Subject and Referencing Guides in time for Semester 2.

The Reference and Information Services Team have been working on these projects throughout 2018 and Semester 1 2019.

Library Skills Training Resources:

To access a range of live tutorials, subject guides and videos on library and research skills visit our Support for teaching staff page and click on the Library Skills Training Resources link. These resources have been developed for Murdoch University teaching staff to be used within your units. They can be embedded into LMS and PowerPoint slides, or used when assisting students with self-help material.

Subject Guides Update:

Our Subject Guides have had a refresh. These guides consist of a curated collection of information resources specific to a discipline. They highlight journal collections, eBook collections, encyclopaedias and handbooks, databases, and other subject specific resources.

Referencing Guides Update:

Our Referencing Guides have also been given a new look. These guides contain the latest information relating to all the referencing styles used at Murdoch University. It is important to highlight that our guides are the best place to direct students when they are looking for guidance on referencing.

We hope that you enjoy these new resources and find them useful in your teaching. If you have any feedback please let us know.
