The new Research Data Management Policy aligns with the newly revised Australian Code for the Responsible Conduct of Research 2018 and its supporting guide. It addresses research data in relation to ownership, transfer, access, storage, retention and disposal.

Its shift will have implications for researchers via the processes developed. Its impact will vary according to discipline requirements.
