Murdoch University wins Tertiary Sport WA badminton

Murdoch University women's team won the TSWA Badminton event in convincing fashion.

Led by Malaysian national squad member Carrie Tan, Murdoch defeated ECU in the final. Nicole Naik and Daena Chin completed the team with a comfortable 3-0 victory.

The men's team, progressed to the Final after strong wins over Curtin Uni and ECU.  In the final they met UWA who had the state's #1 ranked player.  After some strong resistance from our Murdoch team UWA prevailed.
