Pride Week - Rainbow Flag Raising Ceremony Date: 07th October 2013 Time: 10:30 AM - 11:30 AM Location: Flag Poles, Lower Bush Court, Chancellery South Street Campus In celebration and support of the GLBTIQ ( Gay Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender, Intersex, Queer) community at Murdoch University campus and beyond, the Rainbow Flag will be raised to symbolically launch national Pridefest 2013. Carolyn McInnis, Academic Registrar, will give an address on Murdoch University’s commitment to providing a supportive and healthy GLBTIQ community on campus, free of harassment and inclusive of diversity. To further celebrate Pridefest the Murdoch University Student Guild will host a mock marriage after the Flag Raising. Morning tea will be provided and everyone is welcome. Pride Week activities on campus from 7 - 11 October and include: * Tuesday - bake sale, 10.30am * Wednesday - film night, 6.30pm * Thursday - BBQ from 9.30am * Friday - Pride Drinks at The Tav, 7.30pm Contact: Search person by name
