Learn to use a needle and thread to coil strings of fabric, grasses, leaves, wool and other materials into a little basket for your jewellery or to keep other special things in.
Coiling is easy and is being learned by doing. Witness how your basket grows in your hands while chatting along and sharing stories with the others.
What to bring?
Some natural materials (raffia, long grass strands or leaves, wool), some thicker larger hand-sewing needles, some hardy strings that fit through the eye of your needle - and we are ready to go!

This project is being offered by Master of Creative Arts Therapy students working on student placement at Caladenia Counselling. By clicking the Zoom link to attend you accept the session will be video recorded for the purpose of student supervision. Recordings are not kept but are deleted once supervision is completed at the end of the semester.
