Modeling how to “work it out”: an OLT Fellowship at Murdoch Date: 25th October 2013 Time: 15:00 PM - 16:00 PM Location: FTLR 4.040 Library south wing Dr Chris Creagh won a prestigious Office for Learning and Teaching Nation Fellowship in May 2013. Chris will give an informal presentation about her Fellowship and progress so far. The OLT Fellowship program advances learning and teaching in higher education by supporting leading educators to undertake strategic, high-profile activities in areas of importance to the sector. The Fellowship will include a program of activities and the development of open education resources such as short The Presenter Dr Chris Creagh is a Senior Lecturer in Physics at Murdoch University and has a Grad. Dip in Secondary Education. She has two Vice Chancellor’s Excellence Awards as well as a Carrick (now OLT) Citation for Outstanding Contributions to Student Learning. Currently she is an OLT National Teaching Fellow trying to find a way to assist first year university students to kick-start/bootstrap their own learning. Her other areas of interest and research include Renewable Sustainable Energy and Surface Science.
