  Plan ahead to avoid rail delays
  With major disruptions to Perth’s train network starting in mid-July, staff and students are being urged to consider alternative transport options. From 7pm on Friday 12 July, the train stations at Perth and Perth Underground will be closed to allow work on the Perth City Link Project. This is expected to cause major disruptions to all train services.

  New Chancellor
  On behalf of the Murdoch University Senate I am pleased to announce David Flanagan, Non Executive Chairman of mining company Atlas Iron, will be the new Chancellor of Murdoch University. Mr Flanagan will take the reins from Mr Terry Budge, who is retiring from the role of Chancellor after nearly seven years.
