What is changing? 

Maze map will replace Murdoch’s current mapping program. The new mapping solution will have superior wayfinding features and enhanced capabilities. 

Maze Map will allow users to navigate to buildings on campus and within buildings. It will include floor plans of every level of a building and offer a seamless navigation from start to destination point.?  

The new wayfinding innovation also has the ability to link to public transport timetables, allowing users to plan their journey more accurately, with ease and convenience. 

Unlike the old program covering 1 site, Maze map will cover all 3 WA campuses - Murdoch, Mandurah and Rockingham. 

The enhanced wayfinding both around the campus and within campus buildings will be clear and easy to follow providing an improved user experience.? 

How will this impact me? 

As the implementation will continue to use the same URL, maps.murdoch.edu.au, there will be no change with access to the new maps.? 

Upon go-live, the new maps to Murdoch’s local campuses, will be accessible to all staff, students and visitors.

Why is it changing?

The roll out of Maze map is aligned to the development of Building 360. The academic building is extensive in size and will be complemented by the new Maze map way finding solution, helping staff, students and visitors successfully navigate around the venue.   

When is it changing?

Go live with the new Maze maps is scheduled to occur in July 2022.

What do I need to do?

Nothing. Once implemented, the new Maze maps will be accessible to all staff, students and visitors.
